Basic Policy on Constructive Dialogue with Shareholders

Our company has established the following policy regarding dialogue with shareholders to promote sustainable growth and enhance corporate value over the medium to long term.

  • Dialogue with shareholders and institutional investors shall, in principle, be conducted by the officer or director in charge of the Corporate Planning HQ or the administrative department.
  • The Corporate Communication Dept. will promote dialogue with shareholders and institutional investors by organically collaborating with relevant departments.
  • Opinions obtained through dialogue with shareholders shall be reported to the Board of Directors by the officer or director in charge of the Corporate Planning HQ or the administrative department, in order to utilize such opinions to enhance corporate value.
  • For institutional investors and analysts, in addition to individual meetings, financial results briefings will be held semiannually. For individual investors, company briefings will be conducted at securities firms and other venues. Furthermore, efforts will be made to enhance disclosure through our website and integrated reports.
  • In dialogues with shareholders, in accordance with internal regulations, attention shall be paid to the management of insider information, and fair and appropriate information disclosure shall be ensured.
  • When formulating and announcing management strategies and business plans, we will identify our capital costs and consider profit plans, presenting target values related to earnings power and capital efficiency such as net sales and operating profit margin. In addition, we will clearly explain specific measures, including market strategies and product strategies, in a way that is easy for shareholders to understand.
